RIP Tonto

Today I found out that my brother's turtle Tonto died. DTG really liked Tonto a lot. Every time I called him, he wouldn't give me the dirt on his Relationhsip With His Girlfriend, but he would tell me all about Tonto. Here is the eulogy DTG wrote for him:

At approximately 7 p.m. this evening, in the company of close friends, owners and loving feeders, Mr. Tonto the Turtle passed away. Seemingly healthy only a day prior, he did not eat today and by evening had lost all strength, eventually falling into eternal sleep on the comfort of his favorite rock. Tonto was known for climbing up things, falling off things, and showing remarkable benevolance towards his tankmates, many of whom would have been eaten long ago by a turtle of other temperament. He is survived by an assortment of fish and plants, and although recent disappearance of 2.1 small catfish lend mysterious overtones to his sudden passing, local authorities are still considering his passing to be of natural causes. Exactly what kind of natural causes could lead to such a sudden departure, one can only speculate; however, it has been noted for sometime now that young Mr. Tonto showed a distinct dislike for increasing the capacity of his carapace, preferring to remain of infant proportions apparently indefinitely. If this was his only failing, then let us remember him as a Peter Pan of the terrapin world, a paramount critter of style and panache, and overall, a very good pet.

Well, I'm going to miss Tonto too. I love my brother to bits!
