Tricycle Part I
Ever since G&T came to visit last week, I can't stop thinking about what she said: a tricyle!
I really think this might be the answer I have been looking for.
I hate riding bikes. There. I've said it. I REALLY hate it!!!! And I live in Seattle for chrissake, where hating bikes is like saying you would really love a nice juicy DOG steak.
Um, so anyway. I dunno exactly why, but the *idea* of a trike just struck me as really truly unadultrated fun! In a pink strawberry shortcake with streamers kind of way. (to match the pair of pink strawberry shortcake underware that Samazing gave me)
With a pink vespa-like helmet...maybe even aviator goggles and a white scarf.... to far?
I picture myself riding to school, my books in the basket, maybe even givng a friend a ride on the back while they hold on to my shoulder. I don't go very fast, but faster than walking. And I can fully turn around and LOOK at traffic, not the quick headcheck that would send me toppling to give the curb a grit-kiss like I would for sure do on a two-wheeler.
This idea has met with mixed reviews, to be sure, with one friend dead set against it and practically launching an anti-trike campaign.
Here are the two trikes I've found that I like:
the folding one (ooo, so compact and cute!)
and
ta-da! The Airflow Princess Trike.
Unfortunately, this one doesn't come in adult sizes
Yet.

i think it's a great idea.
